The Allegheny County Controller is one of nine members of the Allegheny County Jail Oversight Board, a statutorily established Board intended to oversee conditions and operations of the County Jail and alternative housing facilities in the County.  If you have questions or concerns about the Jail, you are welcome to contact Controller O’Connor.  Please know that Controller O’Connor and the Controller’s Office cannot provide legal advice or advocacy for specific situations, and in some circumstances the information that can be disclosed will be subject to confidentiality limitations imposed law.  However, your opinions, knowledge and concern about the Jail are valued.  Please provide as much information as possible and provide your contact information so that someone can communicate with you.
